InFO 18005: Expanded Beta Release of the Pilot Records Database (PRD)
In Brief
What It Addresses
This InFO announces the expansion of the PRD beta release. Voluntary participation in the beta release is now open to Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) Part 135 operators.
Why It Matters
On December 7, 2017, the Federal Aviation Administration published InFO 17019, which provided an overview and development plan for the PRD, and invited air carriers operating under part 121 to participate in Phase I (Beta Release) of the PRD.
Recommended Action
Air carriers and operators should familiarize themselves with the information contained in InFO 17019 and this InFO. Each part 119 certificate holder operating under parts 121 and 135 who wishes to participate in the PRD beta release should refer to InFO 17019 for the participation process.
