Build a weather picture, not a single-product answer

Use observations, forecasts, advisories, radar and satellite products together. No single METAR, TAF, or chart describes the complete route and time period.

Separate study from an operational briefing

Learning to decode and interpret products is different from obtaining and evaluating current weather for a flight. Use live authoritative data and an appropriate briefing process for actual operations.
