Government UAS pilot reported conducting a UAS flight in controlled airspace without LAANC authorization.

Report 1 | Narrative: On Day 0 at approximately XA:45 I flew my DJI M30T at approximately 10 Ft above ground level; performing a training course for law enforcement in an open parking lot with another visual observer standing next to me monitoring my drone during the flight. I flew the drone no further than 50 ft from my location; having line of sight the entire time. I flew my drone for a total of 5 min 52 seconds in total. After landing the drone; I realized that I did not obtain a LAANC approval prior to starting my flight; which was required as I was in class D airspace. I did not fly anymore due to this.
