Student pilot reported a near miss with another aircraft; while in the traffic pattern at a non-towered airport. The student pilot indicated the other aircraft did not use proper traffic pattern entry procedures causing the student pilot to maneuver away to evade the other aircraft.

Report 1 | Narrative: Flying left downwind for Runway 11 at LMO when Aircraft Y descended to pattern altitude 100 ft off my nose without any warning and proceeded to land; forcing me to evade and extend my downwind. Traffic only used coms after they had cut in front of me to announce they were turning base. I was flying in Aircraft X at the time of the incident.
